THREE KILLED AND AS MANY HURT IN WRECK

Special to The Syracuse Herald.

Indianapolis. Sept. 18.—Three persons met death and three others sustained injuries when a switch engine in the Brightwood yards of the Big Four railroad crashed into an empty lumber car early to-day.

The dead: M. P. CHRISTIE, switchman, Indianapolis; EDWIN FOOKS of Columbus, O.; ROY BURTON, address unknown.

The injured; HARRY SMALL, 19, Aberdeen, O.; LAWRENCE PAGGETT, 18, Loveland, O.; WALTER C. CLINE, 20, Cincinnati. O.

Five of the victims were circus employes [sic] and were making their way to their Ohio homes by an inexpensive method.
