MONTICELLO MAN HURT.

O. B. Studley Met with a Serious Mishap on the Fourth.

Monticello, Wis., July 10.---(Special.)---O. B. Studley, son of Capt. F. K. Studley of Monroe, who has charge of his father's lumber yard here accompanied by his wife went to Freeport, Ill., to spend the Fourth. A report has just reached here that he met with an accident. He was firing off a cannon, and after lighting the fuse and while in the set of raising himself he stumbled and almost fell right on the cannon just as it went off. The result is he got such a terrible charge of powder in his face and right eye that he will lose the eye.
