PERU GIRL HIT BY AUTOMOBILE
Indianapolis Man Driver
Peru, Ind., August 28.--Joan Carr, five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Carr, was struck by an automobile driven by Norman H. Perry, president of the Indianapolis Power & Light Company, Thursday noon. She was taken to Dukes hospital but her condition is not believed to be serious. She received severe lacerations and bruises on her head and cuts over her body. Perry, who was enroute to Culver in his Stutz car, struck the child when she and three other children started across the street from the miniature golf course. He stopped and took the girl to the hospital.
