WEST RIDGE HOME AND CONTENTS BURNS
False Alarm in Tuscola Caused by Smoke From Bakery.
Tuscola, April 22.---The George Seaney residence at West Ridge burned about noon today. The blaze started from the dining room flue and had gained such headway before it burst through the roof that it could not be checked. The house was burned to the ground and only about half the household goods were saved. The house belonged to George Jeffers of Camargo.
Seaney and family moved from Tuscola to West Ridge nine months ago. He was employed there at the elevator.
NOTHING DOING.
An alarm of fire was turned in about 3:40 this morning. Some one passing saw the smoke issuing from the bake oven of the Gastman bakery and thought it was a fire in the Ingram grocery next door.
