Vincennes, Ind., Dec. 28.---Lawrenceville, Ill., ten miles west of here, was practically wiped out by fire this morning.

THE FIRE RECORD.

Serious Losses at Lawrenceville, Ill.

VINCENNES, Ind., Dec. 28.---Lawrenceville, Ill., about ten miles west of here was practically wiped out by fire this morning. Among the burned buildings were Lave & Boyd's clothing store, T. C. Watts' grocery. T. Roberts' general store, and Buchanan's general store. A number of other buildings were burned. The loss will run up well into the thousands.
