Decapitated by Trolley Car
Nekoma Man is Victim -- Motorman Finds Body on Track
Carl Anderson of Nekoma was decapitated by a trolley car on the interurban railway tracks four miles west of Kewanee. It is believed that he lay down on the tracks with his body concealed in the tall weeds. James Bremner, the motorman, who discovered the body, saw the head between the rails as his car approached it. He said he believed it was a groundhog until his car was within a few feet of it.
