Railroad Collision.

Chicago, May 27. -- A Times special says a serious accident occurred on the Denver & Rio Grande railroad this morning near Granite. A collision between a freight and construction train resulted in the death of one man, the probably fatal injury of four and four others seriously injured. Conductor Brooks and the engineer of the freight are to blame, having disobeyed orders. The engineer fled. Pat McMahone, of Leadville, is dead; Wm. Wright of St. Adams, is dying; Wm. Harrigan, of McGregor, is not expected to live, and John Williams, of Chicago, will probably recover.
