Ten or More Persons Were Injured with Sleepers Were Demolished

Aurora, Ill., Sept 17 -- Seven Iowa stockmen were killed last night in a rear-end collision on the Burlington railroad near Earlville, Ill. Ten or more were injured. The men who were killed and most of those injured were in two sleeping cards and a way car attached to the rear of the stock train. The merchandise train plowed through the three cards.

The identified dead are W. D. Dixon, Hamilton, Ia, Otis McCauley, Kellerton, Ia, Thomas M. Bender, Field, Ia, Wilham Foulks, Clariton, Ia, John Walker, Hilo, Ia.
