1 Killed; 12 Hurt At Manhattan
Joilet, May, 26.---A tornado killed one, injured twelve persons and brought property damage estimated at a half million dollars to Joilet and Will counts late today. Albert Sweltzer, 6 years old, was killed when a barn in which he was playing was blown over.
Many of the injured lived in Manhattan, 10 miles southeast of Joilet, which was partly wrecked by the wind storm. Elwood, 6 miles south of this city, also suffered, four persons being injured. Two were injured in Joilet and several buildings were razed.

Three Dead Identified.
Manhattan, Ill., May 28.---The identified dead in this vicinity as the result of Saturday's storme[sic] are:
CLINTON SCHWEIZER, fourteen, a farmer's son; LOUIS HOLMSTROM, of Green Garden; FRANK DRUMM, South Bloomington.
