At Olney, Ill., a number of buildings were demolished and unroofed, and many people injured, but only two or three fatally. MISS M. SPONSLER was buried in the ruins of her millinery store and seriously injured. She may not recover. The residence of MR. MATHES was completely crushed and the family buried in the ruins, but all escaped serious injury, except MRS. MATHES who is in critical condition.

At Olney, Ill.

Olney, Ill., March 29.--Great damage was done here by the storm, but no loss of life is so far reported. A dozen persons were injured. None fatally. The following are the most seriously injured: BELLE HORRALL, MISSES CLARA MATTHEWS and LUVY VAN MEIRE. MRS. SPONSLER and MRS. MATTHEWS.

Olney Illinois Devastated

Olney, Ill., March 28.--The storm which has prevailed throughout Illinois all day developed into a terrible cyclone in this city about 6 o’clock last night. Many buildings are more or less damaged, trees uprooted, fences down, and everything is in a demoralized condition.

So far no one had been reported killed, but there was many narrow escapes. A large number of persons were injured, some of them seriously, but owing to the excitement, it is impossible to get a complete list.

The damage by the storm will fully reach $25,000, but it is impossible to make a close estimate because the electric wires are down and all is darkness, and the greatest excitement prevails.
