NEW BARN BURNS TO THE GROUND

Fifth Fire in Oklahoma District in Short Time.

A barn in the Oklahoma district belonging to a colored man named Killion, burned to the ground about 3:30 Wednesday morning. The barn was a new one, not yet completed, and was of good size.

It is believed the barn was set afire and this is not the only fire that has been started in that vicinity. There have been five fires in the neighborhood lately and it is thought that someone is responsible for them. Last Sunday night a vacant house owned by Frank Zuriseller was burned. An odor of kerosene was noticed about the place.

Residents of that neighborhood were nearly all out to the fire Wednesday morning and considerable excitement prevails.
