An Illinois Judge Drowned.

The Ice of a Creek Wouldn’t Support a Buggy.

Springfield, Ill., Dec. 29.-Judge Milton M. Creighton of the Montgomery County Circuit Court, was drowned this morning. A companion, another jurist, riding with him, escaped. Their buggy went through the ice of Shoal Creek.

When the report was received here at noon it was announced that Judge James A. Creighton of the Sangamoll County Circuit Court of this city had been drowned. The man drowned is a brother of Judge James A. Creighton and of Judge Jack Creighton of Fairfield.
