BARRY'S BUSINESS SECTION BURNED.

OPERA HOUSE, CITY HALL, JAIL, AND MORE THAN FIFTY STORES DESTROYED.

Barry, Ill., March 30. -- The Opera House caught fire after a dance early this morning. The flames spread quickly, and in a short time destroyed the business district of the city.
Among the buildings burned are the City Hall, the engine house, and jail, every meat market in town, the largest clothing store in Pike County, and more than fifty buildings and stores.
The loss is between $150,000 and $200,000. The insurance will amount to one-half.
