JACKSONVILLE CHILD DIES AFTER ACCIDENT

JACKSONVILLE, Dec 24 Christmas cheer was [illegible] Monday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Preston, this city. The body of their three years old son, Elden Preston, lay in a morgue, awaiting funeral services to be held on Christmas day.

Sunday the lad, in company with two brothers and two sisters, started out for Sunday school to attend special Christmas services. A busy street intersection had to be crossed, however, and little Elden was struck by an automobile. He died several hours later of a fracture of the skull.
