FIRE AT GALESBURG.

HIGH SCHOOL BURNS AND FIREMAN IS KILLED BY FALLING WALLS.

Galesburg, Ills., April 11. -- Fire, which broke out early Sunday evening in the basement of the Galesburg high school resulted in the total destruction of the building. JOHN SLATER, a fireman, was instantly killed by falling walls.
The loss is estimated at $100,000, fully covered by insurance.
