Moscow, ID University Fire, Mar 1906
UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO HAS BAD FIRE.
Moscow, Idaho, March 30. -- The administration building, the main structure of the University of Idaho, at this place burned to the ground early this morning. The fire started in the basement of the girls' restaurant and before the city fire department arrived it way beyond control. Only a portion of the contents of the museum and the chemical laboratory were saved. The loss is estimated at $200,000. There was $100,000 insurance on the building. A meeting of the administrators is in progress.
