Six Killed in Georgia

Newborn, Ga, April 23.-- A tornado which passed over this section of the state late yesterday caused the death of 6 persons and injured a score of others. Loss of live stock and other property is reported to be heavy.

The dead are: W. W. Durden, Jos. Maxey, Ed Maxey, aged 11, his son; Dock Maxey, another son; two unidentified negroes.

Mrs. W. W. Durden and four grandchildren who were in the Durden home when it was blown down are also severely injured and are not expected to live. Mrs. Durden's face was crushed, two limbs broken and a hole torn in her back.
