Train Derailed: 2 Texans Hurt

ATLANTA, Ga., April 18 (AP). - W. J. Dale, Houston, Texas, and W. L. Moody, Galveston, Texas, were injured Monday when the Crescent Limited, New York to New Orleans, Southern Railway passenger train, was derailed near West Point, railroad officials here said.

Dale, a Houston insurance man, received a broken leg. Moody, an attorney, suffered abrasions about the body.

The train was delayed for little more than an hour.

GALVESTON, Texas, April 19 (AP). - W. L. Moody III., of this city, who was slightly injured in a train wreck near West Point, Ga., is at the Henry Grady Hotel in Atlanta and will continue on to New York Tuesday, he told his wife here over long-distance telephone Monday afternoon. Other than a bruise on his head and a few scratches he suffered no ill effects, he told Mrs. Moody.

Moody, a son of W. L. Moody Jr., Galveston capitalist, is president of the Houston Gulf Gas Company, president of the Galveston Cotton Mills, vice president of the American National Insurance Company and vice president of the City National Bank, in addition to other interests in Galveston and South Texas.
