FIRE DESTROYED 100 BALES COTTON AND DEPOT

News reached the city Thursday morning of the fire at Ellaville, Ga., which occurred at 3 o'clock, destroying the Central of Georgia railroad and a large amount of miscellaneous freight.

According to information reaching here the origin of the fire is unknown, though it is thought to have originated from flying sparks of a train some time during the night. The depot and all of its contents was a total loss. According to railroad authorities here the depot will be rebuilt immediately.
