Talmage Escapes Severe Injury in Collision---"Gilberette" Falls and Breaks Her Neck.

Atlanta, Feb. 11.---A passenger train ran into an open switch at Dupont, Ga., this afternoon and collided with a freight. Rev. De Witt Talmage, and a number of Philadelphia, clergymen were aboard the train. Several clergymen were more or less injured. Talmage escaped with slight injuries.

Fatal Mishap to a Woman.

Special to The Register.

Newport, Feb. 11.---Eva Gilbert, professionally known as "Giberette," while doing her aerial act in the Powhatan theater tonight, lost her hold and fell to the floor a distance 40 feet, breaking her neck and dying instantly. She lived in New York.
