PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
A Little Boy at Fort Valley Injured by Cannon Cracker.
Fort Valley, Ga., Dec. 25.---Master Geo. McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McDonald, cashier of Dow Law Bank at this place, was seriously injured here last night by the premature explosion of a large cannon cracker.
It is feared that he will lose his left eye, as the cracker was close to it when it exploded. One of his fingers was blown off and his thumb, was fearfully mangled. He was on his way home and was shooting firecrackers, and had just lit the one that exploded and did not notice it very carefully.
