OLD MAN RIVER OVERFLOWS BANKS
Winnipeg, Man., June 5.---Old Man river at McLeod, Alta. is now a mile wide on account of heavy rains, the lowlands have been devastated and the town is threatened.
The power house at McLeod was undermined and fell into the river today. Settlers on the lowlands are driving their stock to safe places. The McLeod general hospital and several houses have been undermined and are in great danger of collapse.
