HOTEL GUESTS SAVED IN FIRE.

Hartford, Conn., Dec. 5. -- Spectacular rescues of hotel guests and narrow escapes from death amid falling floors and debris, of a dozen firemen marked a bad blaze which swept the Hotel Trumbull building yesterday afternoon, causing damage estimated at from $65,000 to $100,000.
Six persons required hospital treatment for partial suffocation in the smoke or for other injuries. A dozen firemen were injured less seriously and remained on duty after receiving first aid.
The origin of the fire has not been determined.
