Hartford, CT Airplane Crash, May 1930
Aviator Is Buried.
Funeral services for Milton H. Moore, 30, killed in an airplane crash at Hartford, Conn., last Friday, were held Thursday morning at the Ed C. Smith & Bro. Mortuary Chapel. The body was taken to Rose Hill Cemetery, near Fort Worth, for burial. Mr. Moore was a transport pilot, instructor in aviation and manager of the Interstate Airways, Inc., at Hartford. Mr. Moore crashed his plane to avoid striking a crowd of spectators at Brainard Field at Hartford. A student flyer also was killed.
