Fire at Hartford---Partial Destruction of a Paper-Box Factory.

HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 28.---A fire broke out in the paper-box room situated in the second story of the Meriden Britannia Company's works, to-day. The building is divided into five fire-proof compartments, and the fire was principally confined to the first compartment and the second floor. The flames were quickly extinguished, but not until damaged had been done to the extent of $50,000. There is an insurance of patent hose of the company and further damage by fire averted.
