Danbury, CT Keeler Street Block Fire, Nov 1895
Costly Fire in Danbury.
DANBURY, Conn., Nov. 21.----The most destructive fire that has visited Danbury for a number of years broke out this evening in the Keeler Street Block. It was probably caused by an explosion. The building was almost totally destroyed, together with the Hawley Block on Main Street adjoining. At lease fifteen families were rendered homeless. The loss is estimated at $75,000.
