WOMAN, 31, HURLED 90 FEET IN CRASH

CANTON, Dec. 28--(AP)--Mrs. Arlene George, 31, of Winsted was injured critically last night when she was thrown about 90 feet from her car in a crash at a busy highway intersection.

Mrs. George was taken to Hartford hospital where her name was placed on the danger list.

Witnesses said she apparently was alone in the car which hit a three-foot embankment along Route 44, caromed off, then turned over about 100 feet down the road.

Mrs. George, they said, was thrown about 90 feet beyond her car.
