BULLDOZER CRUSHES OPERATOR TO DEATH
ANDOVER, Nov. 16.--(UP)--Joseph Plumlee, 24, of Willimantic, was crushed to death yesterday when his bulldozer rolled on top of him after he was thrown from the vehicle.
State Police said Plumlee apparently misjudged the distance as he drove to the top of a gravel mound. As the vehicle reached the top, the ground caved in and Plumlee was tossed 20 feet. The bulldozer rolled down the embankment, crushing Plumlee.
