Dragged To Death

MEEKER, Colo. (AP) - Nine-year-old Timothy Alan Ray was dragged to death by a donkey he lassoed on the Bar L V Ranch near this western Colorado town.

Authorities said the donkey was a pet of Timothy and his sister, Sharry, 6, but the animal apparently became frightened Monday when the lasso settled around its neck. Timothy had the other end of the lasso tied around his waist.
