Forest Fire Put Out by Children

CONIFER, Colo., July 8 (AP)---Nine Denver school children, seven of them girls, put out a forest fire started Monday by a bolt of lightning that struck near them and knocked them to the ground.

Dazed for a moment, they arose and beat out the fire with sticks and dirt.
