PRIVATE CAR CONTAINING A PARTY OF CAPITALISTS TELESCOPED.

Denver, Col., Sept. 5. -- Three persons were killed and seven or eight injured last night at Brush, Colorado, on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railway, 88 miles east of Denver, in a rear end collision between a passenger and a freight train, both west bound.
The dead:
JOHN LINDSEY, colored porter.
MOSES VAUGHAN, colored cook.
A passenger, name unknown.
The passenger train was standing at the station while the engine was taking water. A fast freight train crashed into a private car in the rear of the passenger train, telescoping it and killing the porter and cook. A chair car and two sleeping cars ahead were ditched.
In the private car was a party of eastern capitalists under the guidance of Col. R. L. DAVAL, who left Philadelphia Saturday. East of Brush is a steep grade and it is said the engineer of the freight was unable to control his train while coming down the hill.
