FLIERS INJURED.

SANTA CRUZ, Cal., Sept. 6.---Lieutenants H. C. Oakley and William L. Gradle, both of the officers' reserve corps, were slightly burned about the head and shoulders when the plane in which they had just taken off on a return trip to Los Angeles today fell 20 feet to the ground and burst into flames here tonight.
