600-FOOT DEATH FALL FROM BIG BEAR CLIFF.

Big Beat (UPI) -- A 53-year-old woman was killed in a 600-foot fall down a cliff from Route 30 in the Arctic Circle area of the San Bernardino Mountains near here early Sunday.
HELEN ELIZABETH VANOTTI, had stepped out of her car and was walking along the edge when she slipped and fell over the precipice.
Her body was recovered from the bottom of the canyon two miles west of the Big Bear Dam by the sheriff's Big Bear search and rescue team.
