----Jerry Fespini of Chileno Valley, had his leg broken Monday of last week. Driving a reaper, his team ran, and jumping off his foot went into a rut.

-----Ira Cook of San Rafael, was descending a ladder in a water tank in course of construction on his grounds, last Saturday morning, when he missed his footing, and fell some eight or ten feet, striking on his head and shoulder. His injuries are exceedingly painful, but he is improving.
