COWS DERAIL TRAIN TWICE

Western Pacific Has Two Wrecks on Same Day.

TRUCKEE, Ca., Aug. 23.---(Special)---The Boca and Loyalton local train of the Western Pacific had two wrecks this morning.

Four cars were derailed at Boca shortly before the train started for Loyalton. Later, when nearing Loyalton, the same train was wrecked when its locomotive struck a cow on the road crossing, derailing the engine. No one was injured seriously by the derailment or sudden stopping of the train, but Engineer McCabe and his fireman were considerably shaken up. The cow was killed. The track was cleared this afternoon. A relief train took the passengers on to Loyalton, Beckwith, Clio and Portola.
