California City, CA Drowning, Jul 1911

BELIEVED ATTORNEY DROWNED.

San Francisco, Cal., July 27.---Joseph H. Jordan, and attorney of San Francisco, formerly of Atlanta, Ga., is believed to have drowned in the bay near California City yesterday. His sailing boat, the Sea Fox, in which he left his home in Belvidere in the morning, was found drifting unmanned in the afternoon.

Jordan was 20 years old and came to San Francisco from Atlanta, Ga. He was one of the founders of the Southern Club of this city.
