BOOZE PARTY LEADS TO DEATH IN AUTO
SACRAMENTO, Cal., Aug. 10.----One man was instantly killed, one woman fatally injured and another man and woman seriously hurt in an automobile accident early today on a curve leading over a levee west of here.
The accident followed a "liquor party" which, one of the injured said, was held at a Yolo county resort.
The dead are Mrs. Irene Obele, aged 23, of Chico, the wife of William A. Obele, garage man of that city, and Howard Worden, aged 24, of Chico, a garage man.
The injured are Mrs. Edna Fountaine, aged 20, route 6, North Sacramento, sister of the dead woman, severe lacerations about the face and probable internal injuries, but expected to recover, and Frank Rashive, aged 27, Sacramento, a married man and a salesman, lacerations of the face and wrenched back, also expected to recover.
