TWO PARTNERS IN COUNTY FIRM KILLED IN HELICOPTER CRASH.

Beaumont, Calif. -- Two passengers, including a Santa Ana man, were killed and the pilot injured late Tuesday night when their helicopter struck a power line and crashed near Beaumont, authorities said.
Dead at the scene were HAROLD ANSON CLAYTON, 46, of Santa Ana, and CHARLES A. ANDERSON, 45, of Long Beach, partners in a Garden Grove-based property consulting firm, said Riverside County deputy coroner Dan Cupido.
Pilot DONALD DAVIS, no age or address available, was being treated this morning at Loma Linda Medical Center but had requested confidentiality about his condition, hospital spokeswoman Jane McGill said.
Authorities said the helicopter had taken off from Long Beach Tuesday afternoon making stops in Orange County, Ontario and at an Indian bingo parlor on the Monongo Reservation at Banning and was returning when the aircraft crashed at about 11:45 p.m. Authorities said the dead men were co-managers of the parlor and that there was a substantial amount of bingo proceeds aboard.
Traffic on Interstate 10 was tie up for two hours because of the crash but no one on the ground was injured, CHP said.
