ELY PILOT DIES IN PLANE CRASH.

Second Lt. NICK MOMCILONICH of Ely was killed Wednesday when the twin-engine fighter plane he was piloting crashed south of Walnut Creek, Calif.
Military authorities said today the caue of the crash had not been determined.
Lt. MOMCILONICH was stationed at the Hayward army air base, a sub-base of Hammer Field, night-fighter training base at Fresno.
He was 25 years old. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Beverly Momcilonich of Hayward, Calif., and his mother, Mrs. Madeline Sulentich of Ely.
