Two Students Killed As Plane Cracks Up
Redding, Calif., Dec. 17 – (AP) – The mangled bodies of two Washington State college students were found today amid the scattered wreckage of their plane.
The demolished converted BT-13 trainer smashed to bits in the lava rocks north of Glenburn yesterday as the pair flew home for the holidays.
They were identified as: Tommy DYE, 24, Clearwater, Calif., owner of the plane, and Robert W. FINCH, 22, Phoenix, Ariz.
