1 KILLED, 4 HURT IN TRAIN WRECK

Freight Trains Crash on Rock Island Road in Arkansas.

Brinkley, Ark., November 20 – One man was killed and four injured early today when Rock Island freight train No 91 crashed into an extra freight train about a mile from this city. The caboose on the extra freight caught fire and it and one care were destroyed.

The dead:
CHARLES A. CLARK, aged 29, of Los Angeles, Cal., burned to a crisp.

The injured:
P. P. Hall, Argenta, Ark, internally injured.
J. A. Wydick, Argenta, Ark., severely bruised and cut.
C. T. Littlejohn, Memphis, Tenn., severely bruised and cut, injuries not serious.
James Riley, negro, slight bruises and cut.

Smoke from the forest fires which have prevailed throughout this section for several days obscured the lights of the extra.
