DROWNINGS.

NEW ORLEANS, La., March 25.---The Picayune's Arkansas City special says: "This morning a skiff containing seven negroes---John Rickett, Louis Williams, and Harriet Lee and her four children, ranging from 6 to 16 years of age--capsized, and the occupants were all drowned except Ricketts and the 6 year old child, who saved themselves by clinging to the upturned boat. The two men made heroic efforts to save the women and children."
