Texarkana, AR Fire, Jan 1894
STORE AND RESIDENCE.
Texarkana, Ark., Jan. 3.---At 3 o'clock this morning fire destroyed the storehouse and contents, and also the residence, of J. T. Smith, on State Line avenue. The Jewish synagogue, valued at $2000 and insured for $1300, was also burned. Mr. Smith estimates his loss on his residence and furniture at $2000; insured for $4000. The fire is thought to have been of incendiary origin.
