TORNADOES PLAGUE ARKANSAS; 1 KILLED.
Wynne, Ark. (AP) --A tornado devastated a mobile home park near Wynne, Ark., on Saturday, killing one persons and destroying about 50 trailers, according to Cross County Civil Defense Director Art Rogers.
He said he did not know how many persons were injured at the Hamilton Trailer Park, which is about two miles south of Wynne in eastern Arkansas. A disaster unit was enroute from the Jonesboro Office of Civil Defense, about 35 miles to the north, he said.
The National Weather Service said another tornado touched down about five miles west of Hunter, also in eastern Arkansas, and destroyed five mobile homes. There were no reports of injuries there.
