St Elmo, AL Train Wreck, Nov 1901
SLIGHT ACCIDENT.
Freight Car On The L. & N. Turns Over.
Mobile, Nov. 22.---A slight freight wreck occurred on the Louisville and Nashville road at 11:30 o'clock last night at the switch near St. Elmo, Ala. One of the freight cars attached to the south bound freight train left the track and turned over, causing several others to go over with it. Brakeman J. V. Malone is reported to have been hurt in the wreck.
