LABRADOR CRASH OF B-36 KILLS 3.

Fort Worth, Feb. 13. -- Three men were killed and 14 injured when a B-36 bomber crashed and burned 16 miles from Goose Bay, Labrador, late Thursday night.
The giant bomber was the second Air Force B-36 lost within the past week. Another crashed in England after all crewmen parachuted to safety.
The Labrador crash occurred as the bomber was preparing to land at Goose Bay after a flight from England, officials at Carswell Air Force Base announced here Friday.
The bomber was one of 14 returning to Carswell after a training flight to England, and was making a scheduled stop at Goose Bay. Weather was reported to have been clear and unrestricted at the time.
Killed were:
Master Sgt. LLOYD E. ROGERS, 35, a gunner who lived on the base with his wife, Ruth.
Master Sgt. CARROLL W. BUTIN, 34, a gunner, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Butin of Reasoner, Iowa.
Master Sgt. HYMEN TOWE, JR., 26, a gunner whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Hymen Towe, Sr., of Lismenn, Ky.
Seriously injured were:
Maj. CEPHUS Q. GODNEY, first navigator, Rt. 4, Seguin.
Master Sgt. JOHN A. ZAJAS, first radio operator, Tarrington, Conn.
Master Sgt. HERMAN J. SCHRUBBE, second radio operator, Milwaukee.
Master Sgt. ROBERT W. YANKASKAS, New Britain, Conn.
Master Sgt. EDWARD TRYBON, gunner, of Vining, Kan.
Staff Sgt. HARRY E. SCHWEITZER, in-flight maintenance mechanic, Sewell, N.J.
