FOOTBALL HURT FATAL
Injured Lad Kept on Playing, But He Died Later.
Easton, Md., Oct. 28.---Lee Simpson, aged eighteen years, son of Mrs. D. M. Simpson, of Trappe, died at his home in that town from the effects of an injury received while playing football at the Trappe high school.
Young Simpson in tackling one of the players on the opposing side was accidently struck over the left temple by the knee of one of the players and knocked senseless, but he soon regained consciousness and kept on in the game. After the game he went out to his brother's farm, where he was taken seriously ill with pains in his head and again became unconscious dying in a few hours.
