1 Dead, 1 May Die, After Tail Spin

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 8. - Plunging 500 feet to earth in a tailspin a Brooks Field officer was crushed to death and a cadet was injured probably fatally eleven miles from here Monday.
Lieutenant E. L. Searl Jr., Brooks Field instructor, recently assigned here from Manila, P. I., was killed and Flying Cadet Rois A. Strickland sustained a broken arm, cuts about the face and body injuries.

Second Death From Plane's Fall Results
By The Associated Press.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 16. - Cadet Roy A. Strickland, 21 years old, Brooks Field flying student, injured in an airplane crash near San Antonio June 8, died Monday in the station hospital at Fort Sam Houston. His was the second death of the accident.
